KPS Global is looking for a Technical Services Project Coordinator, to join the Parts Group.
The Technical Services Project Coordinator oversees orders and order workflow throughout the order life cycle. This individual is responsible for orders that turn from the Technical Services portion of the business. This individual is the point of contact for all field personnel regarding orders and is the main conduit for communication between the field, plants and Technical Services Specialists. They will be the point of contact to the customer for PO, shipping & invoicing issues as well.
Required Skills
- Manage ongoing Technical Services orders
- Coordinate installation worksheets with project managers and Turnkey Manager
- Turn orders in the system- accept POs from customer, and track order through full delivery and invoicing of the customer
- Ensure job material is ready and available onsite at required times- including purchased and manufactured materials. To include delivery time frames and order due dates
- Help maintain all customer documentation, specifications, ensure proper order pricing, assist in all chargebacks and COPQ reclassifications
- Create and maintain SOP on orders- Ensure orders in-house have step by step template that can be followed on new and existing orders
- Filter customer issues to the proper personnel for & respond back to internal or external customer in a timely manner with answers
- Ensure that all jobs are closed and invoiced in a proper manner and timeframe
- Manage internal metrics related to orders
- Train on any & all changes per the customer spec or requirements- that affect orders and ability to process in a timely manner
- Follow up with team members or any other departments holding them accountable to complete their tasks- specifically missed shipments and/or partial shipments to job sites
- Oversee training and task management for Technical Services Specialists, to ensure proper knowledge transfer throughout the Technical Services internal office personnel
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of Technical Services experience.
- Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, customer external systems, especially MS Office.
- Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with customer service procedures.
- Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities.
