About the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Site Manager to oversee Maintenance, Life Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Emergency Response, and Grounds operations at assigned locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations while promoting consistency and system-wide standards across the Health System.
The Facilities Site Manager works closely with System Maintenance, System Engineering, and Capital Construction leaders to support day-to-day operations, capital projects, and long-term infrastructure planning. This position also supports the integration of predictive maintenance and technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance, life safety, regulatory compliance, emergency response, and grounds operations at assigned facilities

Ensure buildings comply with HFAP, federal, state, and local regulations, including required documentation

Develop, maintain, and oversee preventive maintenance programs and work order processes

Maintain digital records and file structures to ensure access to critical facility and engineering information

Support emergency response planning and ensure appropriate coverage at each campus

Assist with capital and operational budgeting, including competitive bidding for supplies and services

Collaborate with System Maintenance, Engineering, and Capital Construction teams on facility projects and shutdown coordination

Represent Facilities on quality, safety, emergency management, and regulatory committees

Assist with equipment specifications and long-term facility planning

Prepare and present reports related to efficiency, compliance, and quality improvements

Qualifications
Required
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital facilities, hospital maintenance management, or hospital construction management
Preferred
-
Associate’s Degree (AAS) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
-
5+ years of experience as an Engineering & Maintenance Manager/Supervisor or Construction Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and technical drawings

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations

Ability to analyze data and present information clearly to leadership and stakeholders

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and digital documentation systems

Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a healthcare environment
Physical & Work Requirements

Medium physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally)

On-site role (not remote-eligible)
