Serve as a Patient/Family Advocate.
Serve as an Ombudsman for the Medical Center.
Learn and use the Conflict/Complaint Resolution process with patients and family members.
Follow up with Management and Leadership on conflict resolution.
Enter Grievances and Compliments and maintain information.
Basic clerical duties as assigned.
Assist in investigations of privacy breaches and access appropriateness.
Required Skills
Minimum Education: High School diploma, or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Experience
Minimum Work Experience: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess exceptional organizational skills. Able to meet established guidelines. Able to work independently. Preferred two or four year degree. Experience may be substituted for education.
