The incumbent will be responsible for the recruitment of nursing staff of the hospital. The incumbent will carry-out her/his duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of JSH, and fully supports the mission, vision, and values of JSH. The incumbent will have knowledge of health care recruitment systems, and have demonstrated ability to interact, relate to, work with, and support the activities of a diverse workforce.
Primary Schedule: Monday- Friday- Day Shift
Primary Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
Perform various customer service-related activities
Maintain a professional attitude and exemplify company beliefs and values
Supervises recruitment activities for the hospital
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
Identify and connect with healthcare professionals through various recruiting and sourcing strategies
Utilize major job boards (Indeed, etc.), social media (LinkedIn, Facebook) referrals, and warm calling to find and attract talent
Maintain contact with potential future healthcare professionals
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Completes reference checks and validates current state license
Collaborates with department managers to identify options in order to creatively meet staffing needs
Participates in local health care and other career fairs as wells as nursing schools
Prepares and emails incumbent offer letters
Other Responsibilities
Attends HR staff meetings
Provide metrics regarding turnover and hiring
Assist with hiring for all other hospital positions as needed
Completes continuing education units as needed

Required Experience
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Associate's Degree required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Clinical background preferred (Registered Nurse, LPN, Respiratory Therapist, Imaging Technologist, and Medical Technologist)
Special Skills/ Equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
