Qualitative Project Manager

Position Summary

In a nutshell, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all logistical aspects of qualitative research projects from project inception to project completion including laser focused management of project timelines and budgets all while ensuring executional excellence. This position requires a collaborative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

 

The details:

 

  • Builds detailed project plans including all specifications for recruiting and research, facility identification/resourcing, budget, food, travel, materials, and confirms plans with project team.
  • Manages budget and timelines with internal partners, clients and external suppliers.
  • Collaborates with internal partners and clients to define and set project specs/objectives and creates recruiting screener to identify respondents. 
  • Communicates daily with external suppliers and provides status updates to internal partners and clients.
  • Ensures projects are executed with excellence, on time and on budget.

  • Self-described problem solver who anticipates the unexpected and thrives in identifying and implementing solutions quickly. 
  • Master multi-tasker with the ability to balance overall project goals with multitude of logistical requirements, key milestones and execution/coordination of tasks with high level of detail and minimal supervision.
  • Frugality is fun and you relish the opportunity to manage project budgets to project specifications.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to evaluate, interpret, clarify and confirm requests among a globally diverse team of internal partners, clients and suppliers.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a curiosity to understand why we do the things we do and how we can do them better.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field is required.
