Senior Qualitative Research Manager – Media & Technology

Position Summary: As an Account Service Senior Qualitative Research Manager in our Division, you will work closely with and lead collaboration between our clients, Moderators and Project Management teams to manage all phases of domestic and international qualitative market research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple research projects at different phases from proposal to delivery… meeting time, quality and cost expectations.
  • Assist in development and delivery of proposals for clients in the Media & Technology industries, addressing client needs for all types of qualitative research
  • Work with the pricing team to secure project costs; prepare client-facing documents like SOWs and Work Orders
  • Take responsibility for the client service aspect of the project, coordinating with our moderators and project directors to ensure clients’ needs are met.
  • Collaborate with various quantitative divisions across Ipsos for client work and thought leadership
  • With manager and team support, work to develop existing clients and new business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate has the Following Skills and Experience

  • 4-6+ years Market Research or Marketing Services (Advertising, PR, Consulting, etc.) experience demonstrating strong familiarity with project leadership, relationship management, business development, and thought leadership in qualitative research.
  • Solid understanding the qualitative research process including drafting proposals, methodology design, discussion guide & screener development, respondent recruitment, fieldwork management, research analysis & reporting are also critical.
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple projects and diplomatically responding to/managing difficult situations and often conflicting needs
  • Proactive detail orientation
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Is collaborative, a team player, and a diversity & inclusion champion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Media & Technology industry experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with G-Suite is a plus
