SDA - Behavioral Scientist

The Behavioral Scientist is responsible for supporting the Behavioral Science program through clinical duties, teaching responsibilities, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provides counseling services for patients as deemed necessary by faculty.
• Develops the curriculum for medical students and the evaluation tools to monitor their progress in Behavioral Sciences.
• Develops, organizes, and implements lectures/discussion series as scheduled.
• Liaisons with psychiatrists in developing and implementing psychiatric teaching curriculum.
• Monitors the mental health of all personnel in the Residency program.
• Participates in special projects or completes other duties as assigned.

• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
• A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy.
• State licensure as LMSW or LPC required.
• 1+ years related experience.
