About IFDC
IFDC is an international public organization with operations in 27 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. IFDC uniquely addresses global food security and poverty challenges by bridging the gap between research and impact, combining science-based innovation, holistic market systems development, an enabling policy environment, and strategic partnerships to help producers and countries identify and scale sustainable agricultural solutions, including improved nutrient use efficiency. These approaches are needed to improve soil health and crop productivity while reducing the environmental impact of fertilizer use. IFDC moves from research to action using locally-based, environmentally-friendly, and impact-driven solutions. Together with our partners, we seek to close the yield gap, end global hunger, preserve the soils on which our lives depend, and build economic resilience for farm households and the countries in which they live.
