Summary: As a member of the Facilities maintenance team, we look for individuals that have experience in skilled work with varying level of difficulty and responsibility in maintenance and repair, construction projects, and park maintenance. Duties may concentrate within one particular area of skill trade, however a variety of maintenance skills are necessary based on the diversity of park needs, and seasonal needs. Kitchen equipment repair and maintenance experience desirable. Duties are performed under the supervision of M&C Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools including but not limited to, hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Use equipment including, but not limited to, lulls, forklifts, man lifts and scissor lifts.
- Inspect, maintain and repair kitchen equipment including but not limited to, fryers, ovens, drink stations, ice cream and cotton candy makers, grills, pretzel and hot dog machines, etc.
- Inspect, maintain and repair plumbing systems.
- Inspect, maintain and repair HVAC systems or diagnose the need for a third party.
- Perform carpentry work to maintain and repair park structures, buildings, walkways, handrails, storage, etc.
- Inspect, maintain and repair miscellaneous park property as needed; benches, picnic tables, curbs, signage, archways, walkways, roadways, fencing, gates, doors, gutters, etc.
- Paint new and existing park property as needed.
- Assist in the sign and print shop as needed, to include grommet install on banners, vinyl adherence, UV protectant application, sign cut out and install.
- Low levels of landscaping to include but not limited to, tree removal, weed eating, mulching, mowing, etc.
- Perform as an active member of special projects.
- Estimate and place cost effective requisition for necessary materials and supplies, maintaining adequate inventory levels for the business.
- Provide recommendations on materials, new installations and repair work to ensure the most cost and labor effective resolutions, to minimize repetitive maintenance upkeep.
- Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties.
- Other job duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and in presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids and blood borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight or rainy conditions

Required Experience
EXPERIENCE: Six months to one year related experience desired. Kitchen equipment repair and maintenance experience preferred, along with general experience in skilled work with varying level of difficulty and responsibility in maintenance and repair, construction projects, and park maintenance.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Competency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to wear appropriate job-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation
