POSITION SUMMARY
Housekeeping Team Members are responsible for ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient performance of their assigned work location. They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness standards in both guest and team member areas. Park Services team members also act as brand ambassadors with our guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain an aesthetically pleasing, sanitary environment both indoors and outdoors in all guest view and back areas
- Perform all duties within quality and efficiency standards
- Ensure cleanliness of assigned area by removing all trash and debris from public areas, including walkways, trash receptacles, landscaped areas, etc.
- Clean all trash and debris from entertainment facilities as necessary
- Sweep all park walkways and remove trash and debris from benches, tables, and landscaped areas
- Clean/bus all patios and wipe down as needed
- Empty and wipe down all park trashcans
- Clean, maintain, and detail all park restrooms, including stocking supplies
- Collect and empty waste and recyclable material throughout the park and all buildings, discarding the materials in designated dumpsters or bins
- Maintain clean, workable, and sanitary environments in offices, break areas, and Team Member restrooms
- Follow all SDS guidelines for all products used
- Maintain clean work areas and storage closet areas
- Clean all trash and debris from entertainment/show venues as necessary
- Interact with Guests daily in a positive and informative manner
- Assist Housekeeping Supervisor with daily, monthly, and yearly operations as necessary
- Report any unsafe actions or area or any needed repairs to your team lead/ supervisor
- Work cooperatively with all departments and assist as necessary
- Maintain a groomed look and good personal hygiene, including wearing a clean WA uniform
- Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
- Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
- Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Satisfies Wild Adventure’s standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
- “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and in presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids and blood borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight or rainy conditions.

Required Experience
EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in High School, High School Graduate, or GED preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to wear appropriate job-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation
