The Senior Director of Rapid Deployment Services is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for setting the direction, scaling the operating model, and overseeing the execution of rapid-deployment support services for large, complex data center projects. This leader is accountable for delivering high-impact, mission-critical solutions across multiple concurrent sites, ensuring operational readiness, service excellence, and consistent performance in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
This role serves as the executive client partner for key accounts and as a senior internal leader who aligns operations, supplier strategy, and commercial priorities to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of project management, operational discipline, executive presence, financial acumen, and business development capability, with the ability to lead through ambiguity, influence across functions, and build scalable solutions that support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
- Lead the strategy and end-to-end delivery of rapid deployment service programs across multiple data center sites and client engagements simultaneously
- Establish scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and deployment standards to support high-volume, time-sensitive execution
- Own program performance across timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, service quality, and delivery milestones
- Drive cross-program consistency, operational rigor, and continuous improvement through standardized processes and clear accountability
Logistics & On-Site Service Delivery
- Direct the planning and execution of critical on-site services, including, but not limited to:
- Temporary housing and accommodations
- Catering and food service operations
- Shuttle and transportation logistics
- Temporary structures (tents, staging areas, office setups)
- Portable sanitation and site facilities
- Ensure all services meet client expectations, contractual commitments, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
- Anticipate and proactively resolve operational risks, site readiness issues, and service disruptions in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Client & Account Management
- Serve as the senior relationship leader for key client stakeholders, building trust and credibility at both operational and executive levels
- Ensure alignment on scope, priorities, performance expectations, and evolving client needs across complex engagements
- Provide executive-level updates on program status, risks, mitigation strategies, and performance metrics
- Identify and lead opportunities to deepen strategic partnerships, expand services, and increase account value
New Business Development
- Partner with sales and executive leadership to drive new business development within data center, AI infrastructure, and large-scale construction environments
- Shape client solutions by translating operational requirements into scalable, differentiated service offerings
- Lead or contribute to RFP responses, proposals, pricing discussions, and client presentations with strong operational and commercial insight
- Monitor market trends, client priorities, and competitive dynamics to inform service innovation and go-to-market strategy
- Leverage executive relationships and delivery credibility to generate pipeline growth and cross-sell additional services
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Partner with supplier development and procurement leaders to shape sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and manage supplier relationships across multiple service categories
- Establish clear performance expectations and ensure vendor execution aligns with service levels, quality standards, compliance requirements, and cost targets
- Drive continuous improvement, supplier accountability, and risk management across the extended service ecosystem
- Oversee complex subcontracting arrangements and multi-vendor service integrations to support seamless site operations
Operational Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve scalability, responsiveness, cost efficiency, and delivery performance
- Implement best practices, tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that enable visibility, accountability, and informed decision-making
- Use data and performance insights to optimize execution, allocate resources effectively, and support strategic decisions
- Influence and align cross-functional partners across operations, finance, legal, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions
Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting rapid growth and complex client demands
- Create a culture of accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Set clear roles, decision rights, performance expectations, and development priorities across the team
- Coach leaders and team members, strengthen bench depth, and support succession planning for critical roles
Required Skills

- Advanced program and project leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Deep understanding of logistics, field operations, and site services, particularly in remote, high-demand, or rapidly changing environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, pricing support, and margin awareness
- Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to execution to remove barriers and accelerate results
- Strong judgment, decision-making capability, and comfort navigating ambiguity and complexity
Required Experience
Experience
- 12+ years of progressive experience in account management, operations, logistics, project leadership, or related fields, including significant leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, multi-site programs in data center, construction, infrastructure, industrial services, or similarly complex environments
- Proven track record in senior client-facing leadership, including ownership of strategic accounts and support for revenue growth
- Experience leading vendor ecosystems, third-party service providers, and cross-functional teams in high-growth or fast-changing environments

The targets for this role are dependent on market/ geographic location and range from $120,000 to $150,000.
