We are seeking an Executive International/Domestic Assignment Consultant who is an experienced Global Mobility Executive Consultant who will be responsible for providing concierge‑level relocation and advisory support to executives, senior leaders, and critical talent moving across the globe. Serving as the trusted advisor for high‑impact global moves, the Consultant delivers proactive, discreet, and personalized guidance that enables leaders to remain focused, supported, and confident throughout their transition. This role blends deep mobility expertise with an advisory mindset and an unwavering commitment to exceptional service.
As the individual responsible for managing C‑Suite and executive‑level transferees and assignees, the Executive International/Domestic Assignment Consultant delivers a premium, white‑glove relocation experience from start to finish. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, proactive problem‑solving, and the ability to anticipate and address the needs of executive clients to ensure a seamless and stress‑free transition.
The Executive International/Domestic Assignment Consultant manages all aspects of the relocation process—including policy administration, service partner oversight, and personalized counseling—while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion. This role requires travel to support executive needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive-Level Relocation Management
- Serve as the trusted mobility advisor for C‑Suite and executive‑level relocations and assignments, ensuring a bespoke, high‑touch experience.
- Provide confidential, concierge-level support centered on executive wellbeing, performance continuity, and minimizing disruption for both the executive and the business.
- Curate personalized relocation solutions tailored to the executive’s business objectives, family needs, cultural considerations, and personal preferences.
- Maintain proactive, frequent and personalized yet professional communication with the executive or designated contact (spouse/partner, executive admin) to anticipate needs and resolve issues before they escalate
- Policy Administration & Compliance
- Review, explain, and administer relocation benefits in accordance with client policy for both domestic and international moves.
- Ensure all documentation, file updates, and system data remain accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Provide clear, empathetic guidance to executives around policy entitlements, limitations, and available premium services
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage premium service partner relationships with discretion and professionalism, ensuring all partners deliver an elevated, white‑glove experience.
- Coordinate with real estate, transportation, temporary housing, immigration, tax, cultural training, and other service partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Uphold the highest service-level expectations, proactively monitoring performance and escalating improvements where needed.
- Review and approve relocation expenses to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to policy.
Solutions-Focused Issue Management
- Resolve issues such as visa delays, household goods escalations, disruptions, travel complications, or home finding challenges with calm, proactive problem-solving.
- Stay poised and solutions focused under pressure, ensuring executives feel supported and informed at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Proven track record of building strong client relationships and fostering trust through consistent communication and follow-through.
- Familiarity with service delivery in dynamic environments, including handling last-minute changes and urgent requests.
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to support executives and families through high-stress transitions.
Client & Internal Collaboration
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and client stakeholders, representing the executive mobility program with confidence and expertise.
- Mentor junior consultants and support the broader mobility organization by sharing insights, best practices, and executive service strategies.
- Participate in client meetings, executive briefings, and cross-functional projects related to global mobility, strategic relocation planning, and program enhancements.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with senior leaders, HR partners, and executive support staff to ensure alignment and flawless delivery.
Availability & Travel
- Maintain flexible availability, including 24/7 responsiveness during critical phases of the relocation or assignment.
- Travel expected with limited notice when needed, to support high-touch executive activities such as home finding, household goods, onsite consultations, or client meetings.
- Represent the executive mobility program with professionalism and discretion during all travel engagements.
Required Skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- Required: High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
- Preferred: Four year college degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, Management, International Business or related field.
Experience
- Required: 3+ years as a Sr. Mobility Consultant (or equivalent)
- Preferred: 5-7 years related experience and/or training

- Proven experience managing senior-level global mobility or international assignments.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
- Ability to stay calm, solutions-focused, and proactive under pressure
- Familiarity with service standards in premium environments (e.g., relocation, travel, hospitality, or corporate services).
- Experience in luxury, VIP, or concierge-level service, or direct support of C‑Suite leaders.

The targets for this role are dependent on market/ geographic location and range from $75,000 to $85,000.
