The Financial Systems Governance Administrator will administer various customer, vendor, user, and employee updates in applicable operational and financial systems. Facilitate the transfer of data from operational and other external sources into the financial system. Exercise data governance practices to provide insights into the finance operating rhythm with a focus on streamlining processes, improving data quality, and providing awareness to finance leadership on where gaps exist.
We are committed to fair and transparent compensation. The salary range for this role is based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications and is $25.50 to $26.50/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform senior-level data integration and governance activities, including ingestion, transformation, and load processes into the financial system. Ensure data quality, control compliance, and reporting readiness through governed transformations, reconciliations, and validation outputs. Support complex data issue resolution and root cause analysis to strengthen data reliability.
- Responsible for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 financial system configuration, overseeing complex setups that support enterprise-wide financial processing. Process customer, supplier, and transferee master data lifecycle activities across Dynamics 365 and integrated systems, ensuring data integrity and governance compliance. Responsible for general ledger period controls and to resolve advanced posting, close, and system interface issues to maintain system integrity, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting and data transformation solutions (RDL) and Power Automate workflows (ADL) to support evolving business and data requirements. Analyze and validate new data elements for alignment with approved models and governance standards. Lead remediation of data governance and processing deviations to ensure data integrity and control compliance.
- Administer and govern the Corporate Credit Card program, including cardholder lifecycle management, GL and cost center setup, and monthly statement processing. Perform transaction-level reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with documentation and control standards. Act as the primary escalation point for program issues, inquiries, and approved credit limit changes.
- Coordinate and execute annual 1099 processing across multiple business units and legal entities, validating vendor classifications, tax identifiers, and financial system tax configurations to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate year-end reporting.
- Develop and maintain documentation for financial system setup, configuration, and master data processes. Create and manage a centralized data glossary defining fields, values, and relationships across operational and financial systems to support consistency, transparency, and audit readiness.
- Perform responsibilities across Administrator I and II scopes as needed, providing senior-level coverage and serving as main support in the manager’s absence. Assist in prioritizing workloads, guide junior staff, and escalate complex issues as appropriate to ensure operational continuity and adherence to governance standards.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with an advanced focus in Excel.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
- Knowledge of Power Platform is encouraged but not required
Required Experience
EDUCATION:
Required:
High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
Preferred:
Five year technical degree (i.e. bachelors) or equivalent experience required. In such fields such as engineering, science, computer engineering, etc.
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1-3 years related experience. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
