Role Overview:
Could you be our next Manager, Product Management - ServiceNow? Globe Life is looking for a Manager, Product Management - ServiceNow to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the business domain relative to the products they manage and support product strategy execution, roadmap development, and the end-to-end delivery of products within key business domains. This role partners closely with Product Owners, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders to align the team’s initiatives with enterprise goals, drive customer-centric solutions, and deliver measurable value. In addition, this person will lead a team of Product Managers, Analysts or Admins responsible for ongoing development and support of the ServiceNow platform.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Guide day-to-day product management activities and execution across assigned domains.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define product goals and shape backlog priorities.
- Translate business strategy into functional product roadmaps and user stories.
- Manage teams by providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and drive development of MVPs.
- Review market research, customer feedback loops, and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
- Provide guidance for scrum master and development leads to confirm dependencies, constrained resources, and navigate through development roadblocks.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative development in Agile teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks impacting product development and delivery.
- Work with cross-functional business partners to define and track KPIs and success metrics for product performance.
- Communicate product vision and roadmap updates to cross-functional partners and business leadership.
- Ensure products meet governance, compliance, and security standards.
- Drive continuous improvement for delivery processes and prioritized initiatives.
- Participate in budgeting and resource planning in collaboration with functional leadership.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, customer empathy, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Support Product Owners in articulating value realization and advocating for product investment.
- Maintain an understanding of the data, privacy and architecture standards and concepts that inform the changes going into the product backlog/roadmaps.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews and lead regular product update sessions.
- Maintain awareness of relevant industry trends and emerging technologies in order to make recommendations for product or platform updates.
- Create, document, and implement process for ongoing delivery of enhancements and defects.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of on and offshore resources accountable for the ongoing development and support of ServiceNow.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- ITIL Foundations certification, preferred.
- ServiceNow certifications a plus.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 3+ years of product management or related experience with a focus on digital or software products.
- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring other product professionals.
- Experience implementing and or running IT Service Management utilizing the ITIL framework.
- Proven background in ServiceNow implementation and ongoing support.
- Experience working in Agile environments preferred.
- Experience building and managing digital or technology-enabled products.
- Skilled in presenting product decisions and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple product initiatives and timelines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with experience measuring product outcomes and success metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with an ability to coach and develop talent.
- Capable of building business cases and prioritizing initiatives based on impact and feasibility.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and team collaboration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical specifications for non-technical business partners.
