Role Overview:
Could you be our next Director, American Life and Health Group? United American Insurance Company is looking for a Director, American Life and Health Group to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for helping our ALHG agents and agencies increase production and recruit. Additionally, this position is accountable for managing our ALHG agencies and producers by offering training webinars, seminars, as well as recruiting assistance. The Director, ALHG will also help support and train employees regarding all aspects of the sales process and managing the agency.
This is a remote / work from home position.
What You Will Do:
Communicate effectively with ALHG agents and agencies on a regular
basis. Complete monthly tasks related to running the agency such as:

- Prepare and submit monthly subagent statements for payment.
- Complete and submit monthly bank uploads to Accounting.
- Complete and submit monthly ALHG progress report.
- Track and manage the Elite Agency Credit program.
- Submit all new 3rd party carrier contracts to Legal for safe keeping.
- Travel to locations for ALHG agent and agency meetings and events, as necessary.
- Lead marketing events for in-person seminars and webinars (recruiting and training).
- Lead webinars, and in person seminars for agents/agencies for training and recruiting purposes.
- Help train our internal team regarding our sales processes.
- Manage Agents/Agencies to deliver quotas pertaining to contract level and downline agents/production.
- Work with other internal departments to help expedite ALHG agent requests and deliver exceptional service.
- Manage remote office administrative employees.
- Build 3rd party carrier relationships and production.
What You Can Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience writing insurance or managing an Agency required or 5 years of employment with Globe Life.
- Product experience/knowledge required with a strong emphasis on Medicare and other senior products.
- Public speaking skills required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, comfortable with computers and internet (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, GoToMeeting).
- Outgoing personality.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong follow up skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed team player with a passion to achieve excellence.
- Able to accurately follow directions and adhere to company policies and standards.
- Must understand what the competition is doing with regards to recruiting, training and incentives in their region.
- Be familiar with where our company is most competitive.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with top agents in their territory.
