Role Overview:

Could you be our next Support Specialist? American Income Life is looking for an experienced Support Specialist to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible include gathering and reporting of information, problem solving, reviewing and evaluating various reports, maintaining records and reports, providing analytical data and support to executives.

This is an onsite position located in Waco, TX.

What You Will Do:

• Perform various analytical and data evaluation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to exercise some judgmental decisions in an independent manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must exercise discretion in execution of all duties.
• Contact is by telephone, e-mail, written correspondence.
• Ability to meet department deadlines and efficiently handle distribution to appropriate parties.
• Ability to take information and transform and manipulate it in various Excel reports.
• Ability to be able to cross train in different department areas.
• Other duties as required by department.

What You Can Bring:

• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent thereof.
• 2 years of accounting experience a plus.
• 2+ years of working in the insurance industry a plus. Not required but desirable.
• Proficient in Excel and Word programs.
• Ability to pick up and work various specific software packages.
• Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
• Out of the box thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment required by the department.
• Proficient communication skills including proper grammar, word usage, and punctuation in writing and verbally.
• Ability to understand and apply a variety of oral and written instructions, demonstrates initiative.
• Works well with a team.
