Role Overview:

Could you be our next Business Process Analyst? Globe Life is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join the team!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying the areas of improvement in our current business processes, developing and implementing new strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders. Additionally, you will conduct process audits, process re-engineering, and performance assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the new processes across the enterprise.

 

The position requires a self-starter who is organized, meticulous, with strong business and analytical acumen. The ideal candidate works well under pressure and is capable of meeting strict deadlines, is comfortable learning new processes and systems in a short amount of time. They must have a keen sense of ownership, love process, and be capable of engaging with other teams across the organization.

 

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

 

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze business processes, requirements, workflows, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Designs and recommends processes, systems, procedures, and operational changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and value to the business.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, measuring key performance indicators and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement to ensure successful adoption and effectiveness.
  • Partners with senior management and their teams to understand end-to-end perspectives and recommend solutions to execute strategies, improve processes and operational performance.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed changes.
  • Stay current on best practices and industry trends to conduct business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements.
  • Support domain architect with strategic analysis.
  • Collaborate with all cross-domain architecture teams.

 

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business Administration, Engineering, Management Information or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement analysis, or project management.
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA), or Lean Practitioner preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills with the ability to collect, study, and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.
  • Consistent success in building and developing strong stakeholder relationships across the enterprise and at all levels. Ability to influence without authority.
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, and process modeling techniques.
  • Understanding of Business Architecture concepts such as Value Streams and Business Capabilities.
  • Business expertise with an understanding of financial services industry, especially life insurance is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
