Role Overview:

Could you be our next Web Press Apprentice? American Income Life is looking for a Web Press Apprentice to join the team!

This is an on-site position located in Waco, TX.

What You Will Do:

• Setup and operate sheet fed and/or Web printing presses.
• Load and unload paper.
• Operate forklift with roll clamp attachment.
• Adjust press for paper size and stock.
• Maintain correct color and coverage of ink.
• Complete documentation of jobs ordered and completed.
• Light press maintenance.
• Assist in removing print stock in prescribed sequence.
• Assist in changing splicing paper rolls on press.
• Maintain clean area and assist in clean-up of press.
• Learn all other press/printing aspects to become Web Press Operator.

What You Can Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years printing press experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Production or Warehouse/Forklift experience a plus.
• Must be able to meet minimum quotas set by management.
• Quick hand/eye coordination.
• Quality control awareness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attend/participate in required training courses (some travel may be necessary).
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
• Able to life a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to stand, bend, kneel for prolonged periods of time.
• Production facility environment.
• Fast-paced atmosphere.
