What You’ve Accomplished
- Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 7 years of directly related experience
- Advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, standards and equipment. Technical experience with equipment, processes and control systems used in plants.
- Knowledgeable of project engineering practices and selected electrical, mechanical and chemical equipment applications, equipment and processes.
- Ability to generate CAD drawings, if applicable and using standard software.
- May require familiarity with corporate drafting standards.
- Ability to interpret drawings.
- Familiarity with codes and standards pertaining to the applicable discipline.
- Advanced communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively within a team environment.

You may have also acquired the following skills:
- Coordinator/liaison between engineering, project management, craft personnel, subcontractors and management.
- Able to provide oversite of construction crew and associated activities including but not limited to basic carpentry, pipefitting, mechanical & electrical design, blueprint reading and installation and commissioning.
- Identify, document and help resolve safety & quality issues as they arise.
- Maintain and coordinate clean and organized workspaces using available tools such as 5S.
- Relevant experience in construction coordination, including assisting in planning, scheduling and execution of construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, and provide regular reporting to management (cost, schedule and progress reporting as requested).
- Communicate status on a regular basis to project stakeholders.
- As directed by the project engineer, provide oversite and compliance with building code and nuclear industry regulatory requirements during all phases of construction and commissioning.
- Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data (meetings, email, presentations, customer deliverables) and is able to adapt with flexibility.
- Perform pre-job briefs and plan of the day meetings.
- Experience working in radiological and criticality-controlled areas within the nuclear industry.

As a Construction Coordinator in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. You’ll join a team of diverse engineers and project managers to develop and demonstrate innovative solutions and value-added technologies focusing on supplying advanced fuel, fuel components, and fabrication processes and facilities for next generation nuclear power plants. These solutions will ultimately be deployed into a new, state of the art, advanced reactor fuel fabrication facility designed and constructed at the Richland site. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $37.10 - $48.70 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
