- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria.

- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively within a team environment
- Good problem identification and resolution skills
- Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Ceramics Process Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:
- Supporting daily operation of Ceramics process area
- Preparing parameter sheets for production input
- Collaborating with production staff, other process engineers, and design owners to address production improvements, process control, upset conditions, product quality, and safety issues
- Troubleshooting process and equipment in response to quality or upset conditions
- Ensuring compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards
- May independently evaluate, select, and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications
- Evaluating process and system for efficiency, quality, and safety improvements

This opportunity is in Richland, Washington
Richland is located in the Columbia River basin in southeastern Washington a few hours east of Seattle. After work, the Richland, Kennewick, Pasco Tri-cities area offers a variety of water sports and fabulous fishing. A short drive puts you in the beautiful Cascade Mountains. Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $77,968.80 - $92,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
