The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides operational support throughout the hiring lifecycle. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to coordinate activities and meetings, provide support for systems and documentation, and ensure timely communication and follow-up. It’s a dynamic opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering a great candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator based in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the Talent Management team in Human Resources. Your work will include:

• Post job requisitions to internal and external job boards
• Prepare and issue offer letters and related onboarding documents
• Support recruiting events, job fairs, and university engagement activities
• Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Assist with recruitment reporting and metrics tracking and distribution
• Leverage scheduling tools and systems to streamline event, meeting coordination tasks

Qualifications

You’ve earned a high school diploma, plus 2 years or more of related work experience. Preferred experience in talent acquisition or HR coordination including:

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience supporting full cycle recruitment
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and data privacy
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Comfortable engaging with individuals across all levels of the organization

Your Total Rewards Package

The base salary range for this position is between $21.50 - $28.10 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
