What You’ve Accomplished

  • Completion of a High school diploma with at least 10 years of directly related experience.
    • An Associate's degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 years of directly related experience will also be accepted
  • Knowledgeable of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within the quality field
  • Intermediate computer skills including job specific programs, spreadsheets, word processing, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand procedures, specifications, and drawing
  • Ability to evaluate documentation for compliance with design specifications
  • Familiarity with the company's safety and health policies/programs
  • You are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Quality Technician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

  • Reviews / recommends disposition of procedures and specifications from other departments.
  • Reviews fabrication and assembly documentation for compliance
  • Performs documentation reviews to ensure supplier compliance with specifications, drawings and purchase order.
  • Creates (CR) condition report as needed.
  • May write/ revise quality procedures, SWIs (Standard Work Instructions) and operator aides.
  • Ensure proper archival of quality records.
  • Conduct physical measurements and tests of components as needed to verify quality characteristics.
  • Utilize judgment and experience to identify issues which affect product quality

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

 

 

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $33.20 - $43.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
