Your Opportunity

This full-time leadership role is an opportunity to drive the future of nuclear energy and its role in delivering clean, safe, and reliable power. As the Director of Nuclear Restart – Strategy and Execution within Framatome’s Installed Base Business Unit, you will lead high-impact initiatives supporting the restart and continued safe operation of the U.S. nuclear fleet.

In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of U.S. Installed Base Services, overseeing a network of nuclear operations leaders stationed at plant sites across the country. These leaders represent Framatome’s interests on-site and support multiple business functions, ensuring operational excellence and customer alignment.

You will be responsible for integrating these site-based leaders into a unified, high-performing team that champions Framatome’s strategic vision, with a focus on nuclear plant restart execution, operational readiness, and long-term fleet sustainability. Your leadership will be pivotal in coordinating cross-functional support from Framatome’s engineering, field services, project management, and commercial teams.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving plant restart strategies in alignment with U.S. nuclear utility partners.
  • Acting as the key liaison between Framatome and utility executives during critical phases of restart planning and execution.
  • Coordinating across internal business lines (engineering, maintenance, outage services, etc.) to ensure consistent and effective deployment of restart resources.
  • Ensuring that site leaders are empowered and aligned with nuclear safety culture, regulatory compliance, and Framatome’s operational excellence standards.
  • Supporting strategic growth opportunities related to deferred nuclear assets, restart projects, and long-term asset management of aging reactors.

 

 

This position requires up to 50% travel to various nuclear facilities across the U.S.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $146,000 - $206,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
