Technical Business Analyst/Consultant

Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI.

Duties for this position will include:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience with the following:

• Leading, facilitating, and coordinating business requirements gathering. 

• Validating requirements and assisting with the functional design of solutions.

• Developing, executing, and documenting test plans and organizing and overseeing end-user testing and acceptance. 

• Tracking defects and coordinating resolutions.

• Researching, performing analysis, and providing recommendations for solutions that meet business needs and fit within the system/software capabilities.

• Writing SQL queries and creating source to target mapping documents.

• S2T (Source to Target mapping experience

***Candidates should have experience with complex projects. They should "know how to deal with inter-project dependencies within a program and how to map out how a critical path in one project can derail a critical path in another."***

Nice to Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience doing business analysis on large and complex IT projects.

• Experience in Government, Insurance Industry or Pension Plans

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 and Flexion offers a comprehensive benefits plan to all employees.
