Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Senior .Net Developer to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI.

Location: Madison, WI

 

 

WISCONSIN ONLY POSTING:

 

POSTING IS FOR WISCONSIN BASED CANDIDATES ONLY (OR THOSE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO WISCONSIN WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE START DATE).  Candidates that are NOT located IN WISCONSIN or NOT willing TO RELOCATE within that timeframe will NOT be considered and should not be submitted.

 

ALL WORK MUST BE DONE IN WISCONSIN

  • MUST provide three (3) business references for the interview. (One reference must be a supervisory level.)
  • Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm  (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager)
  • Candidate will be required to provide their own equipment for this position (See job description for required specifications.)
  • Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. This position is currently remote.  However, position status is subject to change. (95% remote 5% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.

 

Job Description:

 

This request is for a Microsoft .NET Web Developer III having experience and knowledge with systems analysis, multi-layered object-oriented design techniques, Microsoft Web applications architecture and development software to be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting web applications in .NET and Angular, pertaining to Employment programs in Wisconsin.

 

This position will support new distributed web-based employment applications along with modifications to existing applications for federally mandated, state budget and administrative projects. In addition, this position will provide support for current employment program applications including Wisconsin Work Programs (WWP) and CARES Worker Web (CWW) for state and agency workers; and ACCESS and MyAccess, our participant facing systems.

 

Project duties will be to work as a .NET web developer as part of a team to develop and maintain employment program applications in a Microsoft environment using web tools and techniques. Project duties will also include analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, development of user documentation and training materials.  Priority will be given to candidates with application development experience related to state/federal programs.

 

Required Skills:

 

  •          8+ Years of experience in Microsoft .Net Application development utilizing DB2, SQL Server or similar relational databases
  •          3+ years  of experience using Angular Framework
  •          2+ years  of experience with Team Foundation Server/GitHub
  •         5+ years  of experience with Ajax, JavaScript, Web Services and HTML
