How will this role impact First Command?
As a System Administrator for Marketing Operations you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our project management processes within our primary platform, Adobe Workfront. You will collaborate with dedicated marketing team members and internal clients, to understand their needs and translate them into actional solutions focused on driving efficiencies, standardizations, centralizations, and quality control within the Marketing department. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in developing and overseeing the technology, workflows, training, and reporting specifically created for use throughout the Marketing Department.
What will the employee do in this role?
- Single point of contact for our marketing work management system, Adobe Workfront, owning all aspects of the software, communication, training, and development
- Self-starter, managing the ongoing development and daily operations of project management for all work going through the organization.
- Develop and oversee Workfront Fusion scenarios to automate processes, connect systems, and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
- Provide references for users and maintains system protocols by writing and maintaining user documentation and procedures; providing help desk support; training users.
- Design and develop reporting dashboards, metrics, and analytics within the platform to provide meaningful insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Create and customize project templates, user layouts, and custom forms to align with project-specific requirements and enhance user experience.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and usability of the platform configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to integrate the project management system with other business systems and applications as needed.
- Work with marketing and creative teams to monitor current workflow and trends and communicate any capacity issues and impact on the department.
What skills and qualifications does this employee need?
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience required
Work Experience
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience as a Project Management System Administrator or a similar role
- Experience with Adobe Workfront & Fusion preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to create complex reports in project management system such as Adobe Workfront.
- Needs to be confident, clear, and articulate in their written and verbal communications.
- Familiar with change management and Agile project management processes
- Review data from systems and glean insights on platform and process effectiveness to form recommendations.
- Proficient in identifying and prioritizing needs, self-managing multiple projects simultaneously and reporting on progress.
- Strong proficiency in designing and developing reporting dashboards, metrics, and analytics
- Extensive experience in building project templates, user layouts, and custom forms to meet specific project requirements.
- Impressive understanding of project management methodologies, operations, and best practices
- Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, management, and other departments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
