Florida SouthWestern State College invites all qualified candidates to submit a resume for review as we seek to fill the position of Continuing Professional Education Coordinator, Workforce Programs. This position provides administrative work in the development, management, coordination, implementation, and supervision of the self-supporting non-credit Continuing Professional Education Unit (CPE). This position coordinates seminars, short courses, workshops, and conferences both on and off campus and is responsible for logistical coordination, fiscal analysis, strategic planning, management and implementation of the non-credit registration system. This position is based at the Corporate Training Center in Bonita Springs and at the Thomas Edison Campus in Fort Myers.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Two (2) years professional work experience in C level support, office management, project management or related field. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Ability to independently travel to other locations for College business.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general office computer software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other administrative software.

Starting salary: $40,000.00 annually
