Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Director of Intercollegiate Athletics to join our team. The Director of Intercollegiate Athletics is responsible for the successful operation of FSW’s intercollegiate athletic program in compliance with National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Bylaws, and in support of the college mission, goals, and strategic plan.  The Director provides leadership, supervision, and mentoring for athletic department staff including coaches, trainers, and administrators.  The Director develops and promotes a culture that emphasizes student-athlete accountability while also fostering excellence in competition, in the classroom, on campus, and in the community. This is an administrator on annual contract position reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Four (4) years of related full-time professional work experience.
  • Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics.
