Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of an Administrative Specialist, Office of the Associate Vice President, Academic Success to join our team of exceptional employees. This position is responsible for diversified professional administrative work providing comprehensive support for leadership within the Office of Academic Advising, the Honors Scholar Program and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creativity, and the Associate Vice President, Academic Success, while serving as the reception point for the Office of the Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs. This position is also responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the administrative aspects of the College-wide Commencement ceremonies. This position sets the tone for a student-centered, high-performance office that emphasizes excellence in service, quality, productivity, and standards.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Two (2) years of full-time related customer service or administrative support work experience. An appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Knowledge of business English, spelling and arithmetic, office practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience using a personal computer, office software such as MS Office and electronic mail. Computer use includes data entry, word processing and/or accounting functions.
- Experience with document formatting, basic design elements, and presentation software for developing internal communications and informational materials.
- Ability to operate small office equipment including copy machines and multi-line telephone systems.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple academic programs and departments, adapting communication style and approach to diverse audiences.
