Business Contribution:

The key function of the Account Manager is the development of new customers in his/her designated region, to ensure that the Sales Entity is able to meet its growth targets through excellent communications and sales skills. Cross border (inter-company) communication is a prerequisite and as a result will make knowledge of the English language essential.


Key Responsibilities and duties:


  • Responsibility to meet or exceed sales and margin goals of the financial plan.
  • Responsible for providing accurate forecasting information on a weekly basis, contributing on the weekly calls and participating in preparation of annual budgets.
  • Initiates, develops and builds professional relationships with relevant end-users and follows up on other sales opportunities in the area of responsibility.
  • Initiates, develops and maintains professional relationships with all key decision

makers both internal and external.

  • Prospects for new clients to convert opportunities into profitable incremental sales.
  • Prepares and manages professional quotations independently, takes care of active follow-up on these and to convert into orders successfully.
  • Liaises between Customer Service, Center of Excellence (CoE), Application Engineering and the Application Specialist to provide solutions/applications using standard and/or custom designed products.
  • Cooperate well with all local and regional colleagues to develop and implement global, regional and local strategies within the region that will result in exceeding the annual financial targets.
  • Promotes all business product and service lines, systems, by organizing customer activities, such as presentations, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Reports to the Commercial Management on relevant commercial activities within the territory, complaints, trends, competitive actions, and any recommendations to improve sales results and productivity.


General Responsibilities


  • Cooperates and supports all the marketing activities and business development initiatives.
  • To assess the market and competitive situation and report changes in trends to the Regional and Marketing Managers
  • Follows Delegation of Authority (DoA) for approvals and escalation.
  • The use of CRM ( is mandatory in the job.
  • Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization.
  • Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the businesses in particular ensure that Health & Safety comes first at all times




Required Capabilities:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering/Management or Business Administration and/or equivalent related field experience is required.
  • Technical affinity and understanding of industrial markets are required.
  • Extensive proven sales experience and well-developed presentation and commercial negotiation skills are needed.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, works and communicates well with internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Energetic and proactive initiator; must present a professional and articulate image.
  • Able to work to deadlines, excellent organizational skills.
  • Takes full responsibility for completion of own projects.
  • Works well with minimal supervision; self-discipline and motivation.
  • Flexible and professional approach to work.
  • Good working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); knowledge of a CRM package is beneficial.
  • Effective and efficient traveling within the designated region (occasionally outside of the designated region) is required.
