Pay Rate:  $22.56 Hr

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Coordinate the activities of workers in order to meet production needs. Follow and enforce all house rules and company policies such as GMPs, SQF, Safety rules and Production Lead SOPs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

• Coordinate the activities of co-workers in order to meet production needs
• Prepare run sequences
• Assign employees by line and task
• Work with assigned employees on personal GMP – SQF compliance
• Coordinate relief for breaks, lunch, and shift switchover
• Communication with shift supervisors regarding daily events
• Communicate to shift Supervisor immediate issues or needs
• Perform all the department job functions, as necessary
• Able to work around equipment and machinery
• Requires extensive problem solving skills
• Must be capable of performing and verify PMO’s quality checks.
• Plan and execute product changeovers
• Manage Scale mezzanine, rework and Box room
• Comply with Food Safety Requirements and GMPs as applicable to this position. 
• Comply with other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor 

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

Experience in performing all functions for the specified area. Qualified candidates must possess leadership skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is performed in a cold environment with an average temperature of 34 degrees F. Concentrated chlorine and concealed ammonia is present. Work surfaces and floors may be wet. Employees are required to wear approved shoes and protective equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and 20 lbs. overhead as job demands. Constant standing on a concrete floor, reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements may be required. Moving machinery, including conveyor and forklifts are in operation in the immediate area.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work overtime including weekends as required

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

PAY RATE: $22.56
