GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Coordinate the movement of products, by maintaining schedules regarding production, workers, progress and deadlines. Keep track of inventory, placing orders as needed and review and track all orders.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Review and track all orders, to ensure all shipments are delivered according accurate quantities, quality, and specifications.

Conduct daily inventory, monitoring inventory levels, in order to maintain FIFO requirements.

Maintain communication with various departments to know the amount and type of goods upon delivery and discuss needed changes.

Check shipments when they arrive or depart, to ensure that orders have been filled correctly.

OTHER ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Availability to work overtime and some weekends and holidays

Must be proficient in calculating and interpreting different ways of packaging pallets.

Experience working around heavy machinery preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to walk or stand for long periods of time

Able to work in the outside elements
-
Must be able to adapt to work in different areas at short notice
Required Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of experience
