What will you be doing?

Operate Hayssen packaging equipment in a safe and responsible manner following the Packaging Machine Operator SOP.

• Operate Hayssen packaging or tray line equipment
• Able to work around machinery and equipment
• Perform forming tube changeovers (7”,8”,9”, and 10” - 2lbs, 3lbs, and 5lbs)
• Maintain a clean area
• Requires extensive problem-solving skills
• Paperwork duties
• Control overfill
• Minimize film waste
• Computer Entries
• Must be capable of performing quality checks, product changeover, re-supplying of film.
• Employee adhere to all policies, practices and SOP’s related to producing a Safe Quality Food (SQF)
• Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Position is considered “safety sensitive” which requires the passing of an independently administered drug screen

• Physical requirement: Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50Lbs
• Attention to detail
• Able to work in a cold temperature (35F)
• Ability to work overtime including weekends as required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Bilingual (preferred but not required)
