GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Sales Operations Analyst maintains metrics and analytics for evaluation and support of the sales operations and demand planning teams through reporting and presentation of such and is the principal owner and subject matter expert for the Supply Planning module within our Logility software package. Maintains reporting, review, evaluation and presentation of key performance indicators vs. established goals as well as analytics and evaluation of key supply chain, forecast, demand and other service-oriented metrics/programs. Acts as backup for the Forecast Analysts as well as ongoing analytical support for the Manufacturing Planning team.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

• Duties include collecting, analyzing, and presenting data in accurate and concise formats to provide the highest level of service for both internal and external customers.
• Utilize a collaborative and partnering approach to build, develop and manage professional relationships by working with Customer Service, Mfg Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Finance and Ag teams to ensure that current and accurate information is used to support the business needs
• Primary ownership and maintenance of the Logility Supply Plan module and all necessary inputs and data streams to ensure accurate long term supply plan information for all company stakeholders
• Support the Logility Demand Plan module and forecasting team in areas of data integrity and Logility functionality as needed to support accuracy of value-added product forecasting 
• Support the Forecasting Team through cross-training and backup coverage
• Maintain business to business relationship with Logility technical contacts and management as needed to ensure ongoing support, invoice integrity and payables, and proper continuous improvement 
• Support Mfg Planning team specifically in the area of donation and aged losses with support ranging from daily monitoring and donation order management to analytical reporting regarding trends and key insights toward minimizing the overall financial impact 
• Maintain and manage database library of metrics and analytics for key performance areas of Forecast/Demand, Supply Plan Reporting, Aged Losses and Mfg Planning operations
• Report, evaluate and present results of metrics and analytics towards objectives and continuous improvement across planning, operational, supply chain and service-related categories
• Maintain accurate history and data records for the support of all ongoing metrics and analytics
• Maintain ongoing presentation style format for all of the above as support of progress and activities
• Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 


Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

• Demand planning/forecasting/ analytical systems experience preferred. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication; presentation experience a plus
• Practice applied mathematics in collecting and interpreting quantitative data
• Possess capacity to think in a careful and discerning way, to solve problems, to analyze data, and to recall and apply information
• Must have experience in business ERP systems as well as demonstrate an ability to navigate fluently within Microsoft tools, i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and self-directed with ability to think and act independently while also being team oriented.
• Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, excellent attention to detail and ability to handle urgent interruptions with poise and professionalism.
• Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team-oriented, fast paced, sales driven environment.
• Ability to plan and execute assignments to completion with minimal supervision.

• Need to be able to assist in problem solving beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays with overtime as required.
 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Requires some lifting

 

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  •     Ability to work overtime, weekends, and Holidays as required. 

 

 


Required Experience

 

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

 

PAY RATE:

  • $78,000 - $85,000 Annually
