What Will I Do In This Role?
- Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Start-up looms after warp out on fixer sections assigned
- Repairs looms as weaver or inspector flags them
- Performs maintenance on looms assigned to their shift for upkeep
- Complete repair work on mechanical or quality for fixer section
- Performs work necessary to maintain maximum production and quality ribbon on looms
- Draw-In ends after repairing looms-such as broke heddles
- Repair oil leaks as necessary
- Ensure quality
- Report to supervisor continued loom problem
- Maintain housekeeping
- All other duties as assigned
What Skills Do I Need?
- High School Diploma or GE
- Must be to read and write
- Must have communication skills, basic math and analytical skills
- Attention to details, and ability to diagnose and repair high speed equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pound overhead
- Must be able to stand majority of shift
- Must be able to prioritize and analyze mechanical problems to reduce downtime of looms
- Understand and follow written verbal instructions
- Works in climate controlled area
