Loom Maintenance Tech 7/ Head Fixer - 1st shift

What Will I Do In This Role?

  • Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Rebuild looms needed for repairs
  • Make changes such as kit changes for number of spaces
  • Rebuild loom as needed for pattern or style changes
  • Make necessary adjustments or repairs to start-up new patterns to ensure   quality
  • Assist other fixers as needed for major breakdowns
  • Fill in for fixer as needed
  • Help maintain housekeeping
  • All other duties assigned

What Skills Do I Need?

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience as a Technician 6 to qualify
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be to read and write and be mechanically inclined. Must be able to weave
  • Must have communication good skills
  • Must be knowledgeable of looms, able to prioritize jobs needing attention.
  • Must be efficient and effective\
  • Must be able to lift packages of yarn overhead. Must be able to stand the majority of shift and have manual dexterity
  • Good organizational skills and must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to work with other employees
  • Works in climate controlled area
