Machine Technician 3 - 1st Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate various cutting equipment in the plant.
  • Safely handle power industrial equipment including forklift operation.
  • Work in a clean and orderly manner
  • Operate and train on the Hydraulic Laminator.
  • Operate and train on the Oasys card punch and PMC card cutter equipment.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Accurately and efficiently fill customer orders.
  • Maintains clean work areas.
  • Follows company safety policies and procedures.
  • Informs leadership of safety hazards or problem situations.
  • Keeps up with required metrics for areas assigned.
  • Supports other job assignments as needed and directed by leadership team.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS:                        

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Mechanically oriented.
  • Quality-minded.
  • Ability to drive powered material handling equipment including, Forklift.
  • Ability to lift between 35-50lbs as needed.
  • Able to stand on cement floors for long periods of time.

 WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Distribution/manufacturing environment that is controlled with heat and air-conditioning.
  • Pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including other shifts and weekends.

  • Regular attendance is an expectation of performance to ensure adequate staffing and meet expected productivity throughout the organization, employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.
