Located in Northampton, MA, we are a community offering retirement living with assistance, for singles and couples, 62 or older, with a rewarding lifestyle on a magnificent 12-acre site adjacent to the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation area. WE are committed to fostering an environment that promotes an exceptional quality of life and the opportunity to form meaningful relationships, for both our residents and our staff. We are surrounded by beautiful landscaping and lush countryside, making our tranquil community a comfortable home for our residents.

The position is responsible for marketing activities that will attract interest and inquiries for Rockridge Retirement Community. Activities normally include outreach programs to organizations and groups that contain individuals who would have a potential interest in the community for themselves or their family members. Once inquiries have been received, the position conducts sales activities, including tours, luncheons, assistance with application preparation, and arranges for meetings and interviews with others as appropriate to the community. Develops marketing and sales plans and promotional and advertising materials. Recommends and works within approved budgets. Submits reports on marketing and sales activity as required.

Works with new residents on move-in plans and coordinates with other NEDA personnel as appropriate. Organizes an orientation program for new residents to familiarize them with their new surroundings and the other residents.

 


Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years experience in marketing and sales of living accommodations to the elderly. Writing skills sufficient to develop written communications, promotional and advertising material and/or to evaluate the work of vendors. Verbal skills sufficient to clearly present the facilities to groups and individuals. The incumbent should have basic word processing and spread sheet skills.
