Concierge - Per Diem
Job Description Summary:
The Concierge desk is the information center of the community. A concierge is always polite, flexible and accommodating. The concierge should be knowledgeable about their property and what it offers to its residents. In addition, he or she is familiar with local businesses, venues and special events and listens to the requests made by residents, offering solutions or recommendations tailored to their needs.
The most important skill needed in order to be a concierge is communication. The concierge interacts with residents either by telephone, email or in-person.
Qualifications and License Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years in a concierge or office position that required clear communication with residents/ staff, responsibility for a switchboard or multi line phone, and personal interface with visitors, vendors and contractors. Must have computer experience in Word processing, spreadsheets and internet navigation.
The Concierge works in an office environment characterized by frequent interruption by phone and visitors. The majority of the day is spent sitting, and the incumbent is also required to stand, reach, push, pull, finger, grasp, hear, see and speak. Subject to repetitive movement and lifting up to 10 pounds required. The incumbent will be exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions.
