Crowley is actively hiring Deck Officer Third Mates for Tankers, CONROs, and Government vessels in our East & West Coast fleets. The current openings are with AMO however, you may be considered for another vessel within Crowley; which might require transitioning to a different union.
Minimum Qualifications and Credentials
- Basic Training
- Required STCW Endorsements and Training
- OICNW (Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch) over 500GT
- Able Seafarer Deck
- Master, Chief Mate over 3000GT
- STCW Medical Certificate – STCW Expiration Date is used
- TWIC badge- Not to expire within three months
- Valid Passport – Not to expire within six months

- PIC – Tankerman Person in Charge
- Tankers- 75/75
- CONRO- 45/45
- Government- 120/120
- Stena Polaris- 120/120
- Stena Impeccable, Imperative, and Immaculate- 75-90 even time
