Crowley is actively hiring towing officers for our tugs and ATBs. The current openings are mainly with IBU, and SIU however, you may be considered for any vessel with Crowley and this might require you to work with a different union. We do offer internal transfers for high-performing mariners.

Required Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
• Mate 1600 Gross Tons upon Oceans License or higher, Tankerman PIC preferred
• Mate of Towing Vessels upon Oceans or higher
• Valid STCW with all required endorsements (including, but not limited to Officer in Charge of Navigation Watch, GMDSS, and Advanced Firefighting)
• Lifeboatman Endorsement
• VPDSD
• CPR/First Aid
• TWIC
• Valid Passport - must be able to travel internationally with no restriction Must be Current on medical and training requirements.
