About this Position
This is primarily a shoreside position. The AB dock worker duties include but are not limited to perform all duties and responsibilities of a barge rider, storing/de-storing of vessels, mooring and letting go of vessels, perform safety inspections of the marine operations area and equipment, work on vessel tow wires, placing and picking up of dunnage, cleaning & maintenance on tugs & barges, assist in port & terminal operations & maintenance, filling a billet in the fleet on short notice when required, perform all duties and responsibilities of a Deck Utility when deemed necessary. Must be able to splice lines. 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.

Work Schedule
- MUST be flexible to working schedule.
- MUST reside in Jacksonville area
Pay
- $29.21/hour
Required Experience
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- AB - Limited or above
- Valid STCW with RFPNW
- Valid TWIC
- Valid Passport - must be able to travel internationally with no felonies, or other convictions which would restrict entry into Canada or other nations
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- AB - Unlimited, Able Seafarer-Deck
- Fork Truck Experience
- CPR/First Aid
- Prior experience in a similar position consisting of at least one year recent working time in the position of AB/Deck Utility aboard sea-going, line-haul tugs.
