Senior Accountant

Core4ce is looking to add a Senior Account position who would serves as the key role in the overall day functional operations of the department and a direct report to the Sr. Financial management team. Position is generally related to a specific function within the department, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc. The individual would be considered the subject matter expert for their department and would be the lead/supervisor for the department.
Responsibilities
- Performs highly complex financial/administrative reporting for assigned major contracts and/or programs in order to monitor costs.
- Reviews, advises on and/or conducts cost, schedule and contract performance, variance and risk analysis.
- Develops cost controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status, ensuring compliance with government and customer requirements.
- May provide work leadership for lower-level employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8 years cost analysis experience
- Knowledgeable of Cost-Plus, Fixed-Price, and Time-and-Materials contract categories
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills are required
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experienced in Deltek CostPoint
