 The Influence, Deception, and Perception Management Activities Staff Officer will work as a contractor to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP).  

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development and Implementation: 
    • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and plans for DoD influence, deception, and perception management-related operations, activities, and investments. 
    • Ensure alignment of strategies with broader DoD objectives and policies. 
  • Oversight and Governance: 
    • Assist leadership in conducting oversight and governance, including staff assistance visits and compliance inspections, for influence, deception, and perception management-related operations. 
    • Ensure adherence to DoD standards and best practices in all related activities. 
  • Policy and Coordination: 
    • Develop and coordinate staff packages with time-sensitive requirements to enable DoD influence, deception, and perception management-related operations. 
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive policy development and implementation. 
  • Reporting and Communication: 
    • Produce and disseminate detailed reports and briefings on influence, deception, and perception management-related operations for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials. 
    • Communicate strategic objectives and operational outcomes effectively to key stakeholders. 
  • Program Management: 
    • Manage and oversee the execution of influence, deception, and perception management programs, ensuring effective resource allocation and programmatic success. 
    • Identify opportunities for program enhancement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

Requirements 

  • TS/SCI Required 
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with policy development, program oversight, guidance, capabilities development, or resourcing requirements within the Department of Defense. 
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in an influence, information operations, or deception position within the DoD or Intelligence Community. 
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs and lead teams in a high-stakes environment. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in influence, deception, and perception management strategies.
