Core4ce is seeking a Red Team Analyst, in support of a Government Customer in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will provide Red Teaming analysis, oversight, and curricula design.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate red teams for Department of Defense strategic initiatives using appropriate structured analytic techniques (SATs) to identify and challenge assumptions, mitigate groupthink, support unbiased decision making, foster cultural empathy and deliberately apply critical thinking.
- Collaborate with sensitive initiative planners/authors, action officers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout a red team’s “life cycle”.
- Develop and evaluate structured analytic techniques for applicability to the red teaming process.
- Execute tasks and analyses related to Red Teaming military education and training initiatives.
- Work with planners, action officers, educators, and leaders to identify lessons learned through red teaming to teach/implement best practices going forward.
- Research divergent and convergent thinking methodologies, decision making, military design and strategic planning to provide insights, improve processes and inform working groups.
- Provide subject matter expert advice for Department level guidance and policy, career development, and enterprise design.
- Contributes subject matter issue pattern/trends analysis of plans, initiatives and assessments, with an eye toward applying greater red team levels of effort against these patterns/trends going forward.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a major which fosters particularly strong critical thinking skills, e.g. philosophy, pre-law, data sciences, political science
- Some level of formal training (preferably certification) as a Red Team facilitator (e.g. from TRADOC’s University of Foreign Studies and Cultural Studies or equivalent Red Team or Design program
- Experience in facilitating working groups or red teams (from 8 – 32 participants)
- Familiarity with joint planning processes
- Exceptional critical thinking/reasoning and communication skills
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and willingness to submit to a CI polygraph
