We are seeking an accomplished candidate with a strong background in cybersecurity portfolio and program management, operations, financial management, technical writing, capture, and proposal writing. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of cost, schedule, and performance management, and a proven track record of standing up and growing new programs. This individual will play a critical role in capturing new work, writing compelling white papers, and leading cybersecurity programs to success. The candidate will report directly to and regularly work with the Business Unit Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities

·        Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.

·        Develop high-quality technical documentation, including white papers, proposals, and reports that effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions.

·        Identify and capture new business opportunities, develop competitive proposals, and manage the proposal development process from inception to submission.

·        Oversee program budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure successful program outcomes within scope, time, and cost constraints.

·        Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

·        Provide operational oversight and guidance to ensure the successful implementation and management of cybersecurity programs.

·        Engage with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with program outcomes.

·        Creates reports, decks, and presentations for internal use and presentation to the C-Suite. 

·        Support developing marketing materials, including decks, whitepapers, service descriptions, tailored capabilities briefs, and marketing slicks.

 

 

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business). Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.

·        8+ years of experience in program management, technical writing, and capture/proposal writing within the cybersecurity domain.

·        In-depth knowledge of cost, schedule, and performance management principles and best practices.

·        Proficiency in technical writing, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.

·        Extensive experience in managing cybersecurity programs, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, threat hunt, mitigation and remediation, continuous monitoring, IT/OT, risk management, compliance, and incident response.

·        Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.

 

Preferred

·        Experience with federal government, commercial contracts, and procurement processes.

·        Demonstrated success in capturing and growing new business opportunities.

·        Operational experience within the IT and cybersecurity sectors.
