Core4ce has an opportunity with a mission critical IC Sponsor for a Jr. - Mid Tester. This Sponsor organization plays a significant role in the highly optimized mission-ready data conditioning and delivery systems in support of mission analytics. A Full Scope Polygraph is required for this position. The Test Engineer develops and executes automated tests to validate system operations and performance. They will also be doing 508 testing to validate system operations meet all 508 requirements. Experience with developing and executing test plans, developing automated test scripts, and documenting results using industry test tools. Strong understanding of system requirements and customer environment.
Responsibilities
As Testing Engineer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service, provide software development, engineering, database design and Software Testing in support of enterprise –wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community (IC). Work with the latest commercial products such as AWS and ServiceNow in an agile environment on various applications designed and maintained for a broad range of IC customers.
In this role, typical tools/role will include:
- Manual testing
- Interpreting system requirements
- Writing test plans/scenarios and test scripts
- Executing test scripts and documenting results
- Communicating with development teams the result of tests
Requirements

- Experience executing and reporting on the results of test execution.
- Experience with automated testing.
- 2+ Years of experience with developing test plans and scripts
Highly Desired Qualifications

Experience with user acceptance testing.
Experience with DevOps and or DevSecOps tools that support automated testingExperience with the software development lifecycle, such as requirements gathering, design, development, deployment and support for systems.Experience with Katalon, Selenium (or equivalent functional testing tool).
