Supervisor, Non-Clinical Care Management
Care Management
- Provide operational supervision of program coordinators who assist a team of behavioral health clinical staff
in the administration of our program that supports individuals with chronic mental illness. - Coordinate administrative workflow to ensure quality and timeliness of non-clinical program components.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support program success.
- Participate in ongoing training of team members to ensure compliance with all process and procedures
- Specific focus on quality assurance initiatives, process improvement, and training
- Serves as an escalation point to assess and resolve challenging situations, and reports issues to manager
and/or director - Provides expertise and guidance on non-clinical issues to team members, and provides outreach to external
partners as needed - Collaborates with leadership team to ensure timely completion of contracted deliverables and other
operational activities - Conducts ongoing personnel responsibilities, including but not limited to, performance evaluations,
addressing performance issues, timecard, and expense authorizations, etc. - Develops and monitors professional development goals and objectives; assigns work and delegates authority
appropriate for established, job-related duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. - Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures and contractual obligations
- Responsible for oversight of team monitoring services under the direction of clinical staff and calls providers
and recipients to ensure services are being delivered in accordance with the Person-Centered Service Plans
(PCSP), notifying case management supervisors or service coordination manager of any discrepancies or gaps
in service. - Develop and support training of new and tenured team members
- Review program reports for quality and process improvement
- Develop and coordinate initiatives, track, and monitors progress, and set timelines for delegates assignments
- Coordinates, organizes, and maintains effective filing system and performs complex data entry and data
management - Ensures all records and business sensitive information are developed, distributed, handled, retrieved, and
archived
Required Skills
▪ Demonstrated leadership ability within a team, including management of personnel, meeting targets and
facilitating process improvement efforts
▪ Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency and familiarity with database software programs
▪ Utilizes critical thinking and effective decision-making skills
▪ Advance oral and written communications skills
▪ Intermediate interpersonal and problem-solving skills
▪ Ability to organize and coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment
▪ Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
▪ Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respec
Required Experience
BA/BS in a related field
o Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substitute
4 years of work experience that includes healthcare experience
3 years of customer service or other relevant work experience
1 year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
