We are looking to hire for a Director of Development within the Care Management and Data Solutions space.
Purpose:
§ In a professional, multidisciplinary environment, the development director leads and directs primary and support functions of the business development program for Comagine Health.
§ This position tracks markets and emerging trends, leads and directs business development processes and activities, leads and directs request for proposal responses, leads strategic partnership activities, both internally and externally, seeks out and evaluates development opportunities and collaborates with executives, other leaders, and subject matter experts, participates in product development and cross-departmental/cross-functional activities and initiatives, building visibility of Comagine Health’s services, offerings and products leading to a prospect pipeline for business development opportunities.

Requirements Education and Years of Experience:
BA/BS in a related field
Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted.
§ 5+ years of business development, proposal development, and/or technical writing experience.
§ 5+ years of experience working with Medicaid programs and waivers.
§ 5+ years of experience working with enterprise data systems in a government setting.
§ 3-5 years’ supervisory experience.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities and/or Competencies:
§ Experience with proposal management, with knowledge of government procurement processes.
§ Familiarity and understanding of care management services and programs.
§ Expert group leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
§ Proven ability to work across the business development continuum from market assessment and opportunity identification to requirements analysis, proposal development, compliance assurance, and submission.
§ Experience in strategic partnerships management.
§ Ability to support complex solutioning needs including facilitating program model development, storyboarding, and logic model development.
§ Self-initiative, strong organizational and prioritization skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
§ Expert writing skills as demonstrated by developing compelling proposals.
§ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to forge and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers.
§ Advanced project management skills including developing and implementing project schedules, coordinating with cross-departmental teams, and supporting the timely finalization of proposal deliverables.
§ Intermediate MS Office Suite, Office 365 proficiency with advanced knowledge of MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership:
§ In conjunction with the Sr. Director, Development, partners with senior leaders to stay abreast of organizational growth strategies, funding needs and priorities, supporting the maintenance of a strategic business development agenda.
§ Leads reporting efforts and provides information to assist business/service lines on pipeline activities and progress toward goals.
§ Coordinates with finance, human resources, information services and other departments as needed to ensure appropriate information sharing.
§ Leads and contributes to development and maintenance of business development processes and procedures; assisting with process training as needed.
§ Serves as a back-up to the Sr. Director, Development in business development lead capacities.
§ Serves as a support and resource to the Development Manager team.
§ May have oversight of team members.
Proposal Management and Response Development:
§ Directs and manages full spectrum of proposal development activities including, but not limited to, opportunity identification and assessment, capture leadership and management, win theme development, teaming partner coordination and management, advanced solutioning activities, proposal writing and content development, and general proposal process management and coordination.
§ Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers.
§ Leads and facilitates collaboration and partnership activities with clients and subcontractors in development work.
§ Contributes to proposal writing, ensuring one voice, alignment with win themes/strategy, and compelling content geared towards the customer.
§ Ensures appropriate customer relationship management tracking and file management processes are followed.
§ Leads reporting and strategic business development plan(s) management.
§ Represents Comagine Health at industry conferences, including developing conference outreach and marketing plans, developing new leads and connections for business development partnerships.
Leadership Competencies:
§ Conducts a variety of personnel management activities, including but not limited to recruitment, selection, on-boarding, training, evaluation, and separation, according to Comagine Health policy and practice and in collaboration with leadership and Human Resources.
§ Delivers, or ensures delivery, of initial orientation and training (including review of direct reports’ job descriptions), plus on-going training.
