Purpose:

▪ Operations Excellence works in small project teams to find solutions to Comagine Health’s operational 
challenges, prioritized by the Senior Executive Team (SET), to bring structure and streamline critical 
workstreams across the company. 
▪ The Sr. Ops Ex Consultant II is a lead role in identifying, defining, developing, and executing strategic 
project/process work across the organization. 

 

Education:

▪ BA/BS in a related field
o Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted

 

Certifications:

Preferred
▪ Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or similar)

Desired Outcomes:

1. Operational Excellence: The Operational Excellence Core Team will be a ‘Centre of Excellence’ that helps 
improve quality, consistency and provides oversight of projects and processes across Comagine Health by 
developing and maintaining an Operational Excellence methodology, as well as requisite standards and tools.

▪ In cooperation with the Operations Excellence team and Operations leaders, engages in internal consulting for 
Project Management and Process Improvement activities across multiple projects and settings. 
▪ Acts as project management support. At the direction of Operations leadership, takes on assignments of direct 
technical consulting activities on intermediate level projects and relationships. 
▪ Provides assistance to project managers to oversee operational aspects of engagements, including but not 
limited to setting deadlines, assigning, and overseeing tasks, and monitoring and summarizing progress on 
deliverables; develops, recommends, and helps to implement process improvement initiatives and/or system 
upgrades or replacements; tracks and provides project status and audit reports. 
▪ Manages the risk, issue, and change resolution processes and engages other leaders to take corrective action 
as needed. 
▪ Assists with managing and mentoring Comagine team members, and leadership organization wide. 
▪ Leads and directs the work of Comagine team members (not always in a matrix management structure) and 
provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
▪ Helps identify strategies, controls, and measures to monitor and mitigate risks. 
▪ Helps monitor the effectiveness of procedures to identify points of improvement. Has a good understanding
of and helps to train the organization in risks and risk management strategies. 
▪ Helps with developing and delivering solutions to drive targets


Required Skills

▪ Intermediate level of proficiency with business software such as (CRM, MS Office 365, MS Project, Visio, 
Minitab).
▪ Some experience or knowledge about low-code business application development, including model-driven and 
canvas Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI and Report Builder, SharePoint REST API, and /or 
data transfer software.
▪ Demonstrated follow up skills & attention to detail.
▪ Ability to work both independently and as a team member with minimal guidance.
▪ Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
▪ Strong relationship building skills.
▪ Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to motivate and help to develop others.
▪ Proven ability to adapt and manage small to moderate levels of organizational change.
▪ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
▪ Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.


Required Experience

▪ 5-7 years of related experience in the healthcare industry, including quality improvement in health care 
settings, preferably in a multi-state environment.
▪ 2-3 years of experience managing or facilitating teams (including virtual teams).
▪ 3-4 years of experience in a combination of quality improvement, project management, process improvement, 
change management, conflict management, technical solutioning within MS Power Platforms or off-the-shelf 
applications and working in cross-department, multi-state team environments.
